Practice Makes Perfect

Or .... clearly not perfect but I am at least "more practiced". I finished my Spare Change Swap top and wanted to quilt it with this swirly business. So I spent a portion of the weekend practicing quilting. I was inspired by this quilting.
Here is a pic of the top almost finished.

Now I am making the back with some leftovers.

Thanks I love my HQ16 it's a lot of fun and maybe someday I will get into pantographs, but I really like the freedom of just "freehanding"

I can't stop looking at this quilt! Can you shoot me the pattern name?

ts a kite quilt and I simplified the pattern to make a simple 4 patch. It uses a 45 degree triangle.
some folks call it a snowball. diamond star. kite. four point. Job's troubles.

I was thinking of doing a tutorial... but wasn't sure folks would want to try it. .. people seem to like squares.

It took me a _long_ time to figure out how to do this and have it be easy. I was gonna do Eleanor Burns kite Quilt pattern but it required being organized. I didn't think I could handle it.

I would love to see a tutorial. I learn best from them.
